My Fashion Truck Journey 5

Well it's been a full year since my last blog post.  I had to take a mini break due to life experiences.  Now I am back at it full force.  Our first time taking the truck out will be July 18 in Houston, Texas.  So needless say we have a lot to do.  The hardest decision I have had to make thus far is what type of artwork I would like on the truck.  After pricing and doing research on the wraps I decided they were not for me.  The cheapest quote I received for the wrap was $6000.00!  Holy Smokes Batman!  Seeing as I only paid $2000.00 for the truck, I didn't plan to spend triple to wrap it.  I also found out doing my research that the wraps only last for about 2 years max then they need to be redone.  HECKS NO!!  I decided to go with a nice paint job and have a local artist do my signage.  As much as possible we are DIYng this project.  Lucky for me, my girlfriend's husband is handy with tools and old cars!  So that has been a blessing.  This past week me and my boys have been in the truck painting it and hanging grid walls.  The flooring is the last thing we will do before having the outside painted.  Lucked out there too!  A friend had leftover flooring from laying it at their home.  SWEET!  Until the next post keep truckin!
